Its no coincidence he is always the centre off controvesy , i watch a panel off journalists speaking after he had his fall out with Wayne Bridge , they ALL agreed that WHEN CAPELLO MADE HIM CAPTAIN THEY COULDNT BELIEVE IT , "DOES HE NOT KNOW OR BEEN TOLD THE TROUBLE HE WILL BRING TO THE CAPTAINCY" , and thats journalists who know more than the general public will ever know what these players are all about , Gnash 1 question would you put in the position off Bridge or Ferdinand want to work along side that person , plus that creates divides in the squad for the other players , i just think Terry has brought this all on himself and maybe 1 day he will look back with regret over some off his antics .... though some how i doudt it , captain for me when initially made by Capello should off been Gerrard and now id go for Rooney , that might give him some responsibility , id say terry is a winner on the pitch and every team need that type off player but at what cost , i think England with or without Terry will not win a tournement any way !

there idols for loads of children and he sets a bad example the only mistake they made was putting him back in as captian.if he played for m united and didnt toe the line and brought disrespect to the club fergie would have shown him the door,the same as that young fella west ham signed the other day.he,s racist and has payed the price if hed a pair off balls hed have stood down before it came to this. and owened up to his mistake and apoligesed to ferdinand but he hasant a decent bone in his body orragant b*****d.

You would expect " professional " footballers to be professional..........are we to believe that every player in every club all get on with each other,of course they dont......but they still act in a professional manner.......I truly believe that if the public and media in this country got behind these boys instead of trying to rip them apart every five minutes they would stand a far better chance of success.....we are a nation obssessed with the lives of footballers,no other nation is like this look at the Spanish or Italians they love their players and treat them with respect and they are just as wealthy as our players.....................personally i dont think Rooney is a leader of men and would be a poor captain......
